Apple Cinnamon Quinoa
YIELD : 4 Servings

Infused Apple Cinnamon Breakfast Quinoa
2 cups water
1 cup quinoa
1½ cup apples (cut into cubes)
2 tbs. cannabutter or oil
1½ tsp. ground cinnamon
¼ cup almond milk
3 tbs. raw local honey
¼ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Rinse the quinoa under cold water until the water runs clear.
Bring the quinoa and 2 cups of water to a boil then cover and simmer on medium
low heat for 15-20 minutes.
When quinoa is done, remove from heat and fluff with a fork.
While your quinoa is cooking, combine the apples, honey, walnuts, cannabutter,
and cinnamon in a medium saucepan. Warm over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Add almond milk to the saucepan a little bit at a time, mixing well. Turn down heat
and let apples simmer until quinoa is done.
Once the quinoa is ready, combine with the cinnamon apple mixture. Spoon into
bowls and serve warm!
