I first discovered Trim Bin when we were interviewing a local grower outside of the Denver area. I had never seen anything like it before and was quite amused with the concept, that is, until I found out how incredibly genius this product was... Then I became absolutely infatuated.
I’ve used cardboard boxes, glass tables, and plastic bowls. I had never used a device made specifically for the task of harvesting. So out of curiosity, or more like a profound desire to know, we helped this grower trim a handful of plants. I was nearly mortified when I lifted the top portion of my Trim Bin.
After trimming only a handful of plants I had accumulated a significant amount of kief. You see, I wasn’t mortified by the performance of my Trim Bin, I was mortified that I had been trimming for over 5 years without one. How did I just find out about this? Made with love and good intentions in California, Trim Bin was conceived by two men who saw a need for minimizing the back breaking task of trimming, and addressed it with fervor. The name of their company says it all. Harvest More.
Now you’re here for the product details! Trim Bin has two depressions in the main walls where your arms can rest with plenty of working room. This ergonomic design minimizes the strain on your back and shoulders and makes for an infinitely more comfortable trim. The 150 micron screen covers a good 90% of the bottom of the top tray to ensure maximum collection of pollen. The bottom portion of the bin is a mirror finish collection tray where all of that illusive kief is stored, and each Trim Bin comes with a kief collection brush that is just precious.
There is plenty of space in Trim Bin to keep the buds you need to trim handy. I personally like to toss my manicured buds into another bowl to keep things separate. The bin is not too large or too small and can fit comfortably in your lap, anywhere! Your couch, your recliner, your bed, the toilet, you name it, Trim Bin will probably fit it. You can even purchase Trim Bin accessory kit with an equally useful Scissor Scrubber and Drink Holder! The only thing you will have trouble containing is your excitement when you see all the kief you harvested without even thinking about it. Don’t be too surprised if your Trim Bin pays for itself in the first harvest.
Were the creators as delighted when the first prototype of Trim Bin killed it? Did they jump for joy when they saw the true potential and utility of their creation? I sure hope so. I wish them all the success in the world for making a product like this. They deserve it. Harvest-More is a company I believe in, they make products I believe in, and I am glad that companies like Harvest-More exist and thrive in the ever-budding cannabis industry.
Although Trim Bin is used in many personal and commercial grows, I am always utterly surprised to find key personnel of grow ops who are unfamiliar with this epic harvesting tool. So I always let them know, “Just try it once. Just once!” Let Trim Bin give your back sweet relief and supplement your harvest with loads of kief. You will never trim without one again.
A warning to the weak of hearts: You might suffer from a mild case of PTSD after you realize how much product you’ve been losing over the years, but just get back to trimming and watch those resentments fade away under fluffy mounds of golden kief.
